Terms of Service
Last updated: April 7, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Doora website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, submitting your information, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Platform role
Doora is a technology marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers for home and related services.
Doora does not directly perform the services listed on the platform, and service outcomes remain the responsibility of the independent provider you book.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Doora. When you create an account or submit information through the platform, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Bookings and payments
When a customer confirms a booking, the service relationship is formed between the customer and the independent service provider.
Payments may be processed through third-party providers. Doora may charge platform or service-related fees disclosed during checkout or booking confirmation.
4. Customer responsibilities
Customers agree to provide accurate booking details, maintain a safe service environment, disclose relevant hazards or special conditions, and comply with applicable laws.
Customers are also responsible for reviewing pricing, cancellation terms, and any provider-specific requirements before confirming a booking.
5. Provider independence
Service providers using Doora are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Doora.
Nothing on the platform creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between Doora and a customer or service provider.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the platform for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity.
Doora may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms, misuse the marketplace, or interfere with platform operations.
7. Liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform or services performed by independent providers.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
